There are moments in our lives, when we are forced to come to a halt. Unexpectedly, the daily routines that we had of going to work, enjoying the people to go out and dance Friday nights with having to be counted upon entering a supermarket. The guidelines now required that we keep ourselves at a distance of 6ft and the requirement of facial mask to enter buildings. We were limited and restricted to the exposure of society for a minor grace period. With friction, comes restrictions and that substantially misaligned our way of living.
We were put at an angle to refocus our perspective. To make alternations in the ways that we may go about our days in thought and way of being. An uncomfortable circumstance will arouse clarity in places that were unknown to be obscured. What are some things that we do about our "normal" days that are restricted now that we realize we may not treat with as much admiration.
Simple times are becoming more and more recognized for just how meaningful they truly are. There's no interruptions, no late night tiredness from work, the kids can stay in and enjoy being home with their families. Yes, there are some downfalls but nothing gives a better rush than a roller coaster. And when you're sudden on a roll, and there's a small pause, the anticipation of what is to come next begins to overwhelm the body. The feeling of panic and distress starts to circulated... no .. that's not what we want. This time, we need to be enjoying the pause. Relaxing and collecting ourselves together in the ways that we were unable to before. Gradually bring ourselves back to the being that we are that got tangled up in the everyday web that we are so caught up in. Admire the activities and love for the ones that are around you. Work on the project that you have been holding off on for months, get to it!
We took on our days waiting for answers when some of them were right where we were during a standstill. During the quiet is when we find the most answers. You cannot listen if you're too busy speaking. Suddenly, we derail and lose focus on what was really important and needed all of our attention.
Self-reflect and analyze.
